Letter to a friend (English)

Hi Paul, I am writing this letter to inform you of my weekend becouse you dont go with us. Hope you're having a good time in Rome!
It was a great weekend. On Saturday I went to the beach with Katy and we had a good play to shovels and  after we slept in the sun.
Then we went to watch a movie and then dinner. It  was a very nice day
Then on Sunday I went walk with my dog to the port and I started the evening with my schoolwork
